WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, OH. – As the 2023 Development Player League Finals begin today, Tormenta FC Academy’s U14 Girls DPL team is gearing up to represent South Georgia and the Lowcountry of South Carolina in the national finals being played in West Chester Township, Ohio.
The DPL Finals start today, June 27 and run until July 2 at the Voice of America Athletic Complex, featuring the best teams in the DPL.
TFC Academy has been placed in Group C, where the team will face BC United SA, Florida Hawks Futbol Club and SoCal Elite FC. The U14 group begins play against Florida Hawks FC today, at 3:30 p.m. ET. South Georgia will then take on SoCal Elite FC on June 29, and end the group stage phase against BC United SA on Friday, June 30.
Tormenta FC Academy’s Hollis Melnick, Ayla Reynolds and Madalynn Baker were named to the DPL All-Star team and will feature in the DPL Perform Game on Wednesday, June 28.
Committed to raising the level of soccer locally and across the country, Tormenta FC Academy has programs for ages two to 19.
