STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC has signed midfielder Craig McCall to its 2021 USL League One roster, pending league and federation approval. Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, McCall impressed with Tormenta FC 2 in 2019 and now inks his first professional contract, a one-year deal with a club option. The midfielder was invited to train with the first team due to the cancellation of the 2020 USL League Two season and gained valuable experience to bring him to the next level.
“Craig is a young player who deserves the opportunity to play professionally,” TFC Head Coach Ian Cameron said. “He entered the US soccer scene in junior college, where he was successful, before making the move to Division II. Then last summer he joined our franchise at the USL League Two level where he thrived. Craig gives our team a different mental edge, and we're excited to get him on the field next year.”
