STATESBORO, Ga. — South Georgia Tormenta FC announced that beginning today the team has pledged to donate $100 to the local Statesboro food bank for every goal scored by Tormenta FC’s USL League One and USL W League during its home matches. Last Sunday’s USL W League fixture between Tormenta FC and North Alabama SC where Tormenta FC scored three goals will count toward the amount donated ($300).

Every goal scored by Tormenta FC’s League One and W League team will translate into a meaningful contribution to the local food bank, ensuring that individuals and families facing food insecurity receive vital support.
