RICHMOND, VA. – South Georgia Tormenta FC is set to venture to Virginia, determined to maintain their impressive form and sustain playoff aspirations. The match will kick off at 6 p.m. ET from City Stadium in Richmond, Virginia, on Saturday, Sept. 30 (ESPN+).
The Week 29 meeting will be the third and final regular season match between Richmond and South Georgia. Richmond currently leads the season series with one win and a draw.

Tormenta FC enters the game with an 11-13-5 (W-L-D) overall record and on the heels of a shutout 1-0 victory against One Knoxville SC in Week 28 of the regular season. Goalscoring has not been a problem for TFC this year, as the squad is just two goals away from setting a new league record for most goals in a season. Kazaiah Sterling leads the team in scoring with 12 goals, yet Mukwelle Akale is swiftly closing in, netting three times in his last four matches.
Richmond, meanwhile, enters the match with a 6-13-10 (W-L-D) overall record, losing 1-2 to Greenville Triumph SC in its most recent matchup. The Kickers are currently in the midst of a historically bad streak of matches. The squad is winless in their last 13 but will look to break that streak against Tormenta FC.
Following Saturday’s match, Tormenta FC will turn its attention to their final home game of the season. They take on Union Omaha at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 7, at Tormenta Stadium (ESPN+).
