STATESBORO, Ga. — Striker, Kazaiah Sterling, and center-back, Daltyn Knutson, have been named to the USL League One Team of the Week for Week 29 of the 2023 regular season. Sterling and Knutson both played a key role in the 1-0 victory over the Richmond Kickers.
Sterling scored the only goal of the match over the weekend, scoring from the penalty spot in the 70th minute. Knutson won the penalty in the 69th minute for Tormenta after being dragged down just outside the 6 yard-box and completed 96% of his passes and 100% of his ground duels.
Following another crucial victory over the Richmond Kickers, Sterling, Knutson, and Tormenta FC now turn their attention to a big game on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Tormenta Stadium against Union Omaha.
