Knoxville, Tenn. – March 29, 2024 – South Georgia Tormenta FC hits the road again this weekend as the team heads to Regal Soccer Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee, to play One Knoxville SC in a top-of-the-standings clash.
Tormenta FC comes into Saturday’s match fourth in the standings with a 1-1-1 (W-L-D) record in USL League One play following a 3-1 win in Richmond against the Kickers. One Knoxville is top of the standings and holds a 2-0-0 (W-L-D) record after beating Lexington SC 2-0 in its first match of 2024 at Regal Soccer Stadium.
Saturday’s match will be the fourth time in history the two sides have faced each other. South Georgia currently leads the series, winning two out of three matches last year.
South Georgia will look to star goalkeeper Ford Parker to maintain his hot start to the season on Saturday to halt Knoxville midfielder Angelo Kelly-Rosales’ impressive form. Parker has been named to the USL League One Team of the Week back-to-back for the past two weeks and is a three-time consecutive winner of the USL League One Save of the Week.
One Knoxville currently holds the joint best defensive record in the league, having only allowed one goal, scored during its 1-2 win against the Charlotte Independence. South Georgia will look to break through through the Knoxville defense behind USL League One Golden Boot leader Niall Watson. Watson netted his second of the season in Richmond, beating the goalkeeper one-on-one in front of goal.

Tormenta FC competes in the professional USL League One and the pre-professional USL W League, under the United Soccer League (USL) and has also established a thriving academy system throughout South Georgia and the Lowcountry of South Carolina.
