STATESBORO, Ga. – June 28, 2024 – South Georgia Tormenta FC is slated to host Fayetteville Fury on Sunday, June 30 at Tormenta Stadium. Tormenta FC is still on the hunt for a wild card spot as the team enters the final day of the 2024 regular season.

Sunday’s match will be the second time the two teams face each other. South Georgia beat Fayetteville 5-0 the last time the two sides faced each other during Tormenta’s season opener.

Carlyn Presley netted her second goal of the season during Wednesday’s midweek match. Presley found the back of the net in the 82nd minute against Wake FC to secure a crucial three points on the road for South Georgia.
Jenna Moran kept the clean sheet during Wednesday’s match, marking her third clean sheet of the season. Moran has played an essential role for South Georgia this season as a leader of the defense that has conceded just ten goals during the 2024 campaign.
