STATESBORO, Ga. – September 24, 2024 – South Georgia Tormenta FC’s Pedro Fonseca earned a spot in the Week 21 USL League One Team of the Week bench for his form against Charlotte Independence.
The Brazilian midfielder netted a goal with ease in just the 13th minute of play, opening the scoring for the match. The goal marked his eighth across all competitions for the 2024 campaign.
Fonseca also won a total of four duels, took three shots, and took 56 touches in the 90 minutes he played against Charlotte.
Fans can watch Fonseca and the rest of the Ibises against Northern Colorado Hailstorm via ESPN+ on Saturday, October 5 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
